S01E1058: The Man Who Camped Out at the Police Station

Kogoro spots Inspector Megure walking in front of Cafe Poirot. He congratulates the police on recently solving a case in record time, but apparently they arrested the wrong man. Conan meets up with them and Inspector Megure explains the case to them. A man was found dead in his home. At the crime scene were a rope and metal pipe, and the police believe the culprit entered by opening a hole in a glass window, knocked the victim unconscious with the metal pipe, and then strangled him to death. The victim's girlfriend's testimony pointed to her ex-boyfriend as a possible suspect, but...
